Our Story
We are Kevin and Tim, a loving, married couple living just outside of Boston. Our relationship is built on mutual respect, humor, and an appreciation for the simple joys in life. We met in 2021, and from our very first date, we knew we had something special. Our connection grew quickly, and we realized early on that we shared a dream of building a family together.
About Kevin
Kevin is one of the most outgoing, kind, and thoughtful people. He has an infectious energy that makes people feel welcomed and included.
Whether it’s hosting a themed dinner party, organizing a game night, or setting up a “make your own pizza” party with our backyard pizza oven, Kevin loves turning everyday moments into lasting memories. He can’t wait to bring that same creative spirit into parenthood.
Kevin grew up in a small but close-knit family. He truly appreciates what his parents were able to provide for him during his childhood and beyond. From his mom reading to him to experiencing the world through travel, these are things he looks forward to passing on.
Kevin is a proud godfather to his godson, Jack, who lives in Philadelphia. Though distance makes frequent visits tricky, he never misses the big moments like birthdays or family trips. Being Jack’s godfather has deepened Kevin’s excitement about becoming a parent himself.
Kevin is excited to share that same sense of wonder, education, and exploration with our future family.
About Tim
Tim is incredibly patient, creative, and deeply loyal. As a high school history teacher, he brings enthusiasm and curiosity to everything he does. His students adore him, and he finds so much joy in sparking a love of learning in young minds.
Tim grew up in a large Irish Catholic family, with five siblings who remain his closest friends. Tim has an artistic soul; he loves pottery, painting, and building things. He has a way of making any place feel like home.
Tim’s passion for teaching was shaped by his time working for nonprofits. He spent three summers on a reservation in South Dakota, building homes and learning about the history and culture. The experience left a deep impression. It continues to shape how Tim sees the world, and how he hopes to parent: with curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for others’ lived experiences.
Our Families & Our Traditions
Tim’s large family gathers often, and when they do, it’s full of laughter, card games, board games, and friendly competitions in the backyard.
Each summer, the family holds a special day of games to honor Tim’s father, who passed away in 2022. It’s consistently a fun, and competitive, way to keep his memory alive.
Holidays like Easter and Christmas are especially meaningful, filled with tradition and company. Kevin loves to bring creativity into the mix, organizing activities like gingerbread house decorating, ornament making, or egg dyeing with the nieces and nephews.
These moments have shown us how meaningful it is to be surrounded by our extended family, and how excited they all are to welcome a new child into the fold.
Our Home & Community
We live in a welcoming neighborhood, with parks, playgrounds, and hiking trails all within walking distance.
We are fortunate to have an incredible support system of family and friends nearby. Tim’s large family, which includes 11 nieces and nephews, is already excited to welcome a new addition. And Kevin’s best friends are lining up to be part of the extended family.
Our Promise as Parents
From the very beginning, we dreamed of raising a family together. We believe in creating a home filled with love, laughter, and encouragement.
We promise to provide a stable, supportive environment where our child will be free to explore their passions, learn, grow, and know they are unconditionally loved.
Our goal is to create a life filled with varied and wonderful experiences as well as a deep sense of belonging.
We will teach our child the values of kindness, resilience, and empathy. We will surround them with a diverse and loving community, ensuring they always feel supported.
